Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 13 or 26 week contracts available

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care for labor, preterm labor, and low-risk antepartum patients across 8 labor rooms and 4 triage rooms
• Perform circulating, scrub, pre-op, and post-op roles for OB-GYN and GYN surgical cases
• Administer blood and blood products, and manage epidural, PCA, syringe, and infusion pumps including Heparin, Insulin, and Magnesium Sulfate
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and support couplet care and transition nursery as needed
• Maintain required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Float to Post-Partum and potentially a sister Labor and Delivery unit as directed; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day); candidates may request up to 2 major holidays off
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible as a traveler; local candidates are accepted at a different rate

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification preferred
• Experience with special procedures including cardioversion/defibrillation, wound vac, and cooling/warming blankets
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
