Lead the Program Leaders and Faculty to create and maintain a positive school climate with regular presence during school programming (arrival/dismissal, advisory, classes, lunch, academic support, hallways, sports, arts, clubs, events, and community activities). Provide instructional leadership for the 5-12 program, aligning the Schoolwide Objectives & Benchmark Skills with MA Curriculum Frameworks and an Inquiry & Skills approach. Coordinate professional development of the faculty and lead mentoring programs. Manage, support, coach, and evaluate Academic Dean, Assistant Principals, Deans of Community, Department Chairs, Director of College & Future Planning, Program Administrator, and General Education Teachers in keeping with the school philosophy. Oversee evaluation of general education teachers and lead cycles of observation and feedback. Provide hiring recommendations and assist with budget-related considerations. Oversee academic calendar, core and special schedules, and coordination of events and field work. Lead Morning Meetings and other community events; communicate with students, faculty, and families about programs and events. Collaborate with the Head of School and program leaders on recruitment, enrollment, orientation, retention, and planning; present at open houses. Attend and support weekly Department Chair and Advisory Team Leader meetings; conduct Principal Hearings as needed; approve resource purchases. Collaborate with the Head of School and Director of Finance, Facilities, and Human Resources on budget planning; support policy updates. Serve as Civil Rights Coordinator and Title IX Decision Maker. Compensation and Start Date The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000. The final offered salary will be commensurate with the candidate’s skills, experiences, and qualifications.
