Job Description Locums | Orthopaedic Surgery | Hazard, KY (KY or IMLC) Why This Role \n \n KY or IMLC accepted \n Emergency privileges available \n Ongoing long-term need — locums-to-perm potential \n Bread-and-butter scope (arthro total joints) \n Board eligible welcome Assignment Details \n Start/end: Starts 7/16, ongoing \n Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours call; beeper call, 30-min response, 50% callback \n Coverage type: Clinic call, inpatient and outpatient \n Volume: ~25 patients/shift; call ~5 phone consults, 10-15 seen \n Setting: Level 4 trauma, stroke certified; 99-bed department \n Support: 1 PA/NP, 4 office staff; will supervise APPs \n EMR: MediTech \n Credentialing: Emergency privileges available; ~30 days full credentialing Clinical Details \n Required scope: Arthroscopy, total joint replacement (hip and knee) \n Preferred scope: None specified \n Rounds on assigned and unassigned patients Requirements \n Board certified or board eligible \n License: KY or IMLC \n BLS \n Active DEA Compensation \n Rate negotiable, open to your number \n Malpractice provided \n Travel and lodging reimbursed \n \n
