Assistant Nurse Manager RN - Labor and Delivery

Overview The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in Torrance, CA will oversee and lead a team of nursing clinicians, support the unit director/manager, and provide managerial presence for all shifts. Responsibilities Oversee and lead nursing clinicians. Manage clinical and operational activities within the assigned shift. Support the unit director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services of the unit. Provide managerial presence for all shifts. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BS or BSN) – RSN holders encouraged to pursue BSN. California Registered Nurse License upon hire. National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire. Preferred Qualifications Recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital. Charge Nurse or Relief Charge Nurse experience. Leadership experience. Shared Governance experience.
