Packaging Operator IPosition: Packaging Operator ISchedule: 2nd Shift - Monday - Thursday - 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM (based on business needs and job completions which could include overtime both during the week and on weekends)Base Rate: $15.25/HourShift Differential: $1.00 for Hours worked on 2nd ShiftPackaging a variety of products according to customer specifications.Essential Job FunctionsReviews Work Orders to determine packaging requirements.Visually inspects product for defects and transfers defective items to the appropriate location.Manual weighing and counting of product.Loads product into packaging machines, Monitors machines for proper function.Unloads and visually inspects packaged product to ensure it meets quality standards.Places packaged product into boxes. Exposure to loud noise. Functional vision and hearing required.
