In-Home Caregiver - Northgate

See why our caregivers chose to come and stay to thrive. Seattle Branch Requirements Our Seattle branch is looking for experienced caregivers. We require a valid CNA, HCA, or proof you are enrolled in HCA/CNA training. In addition, a valid WA state driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance in your name are required. Current Client Needs Available to work daytime hours Monday through Friday, typically between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Open to short 2‑to‑5‑hour shifts. No overnight shifts available at this time. Valid CNA, HCA or proof of enrollment in HCA/CNA training. Valid WA state driver’s license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance in your name. Comfortable with cats and dogs — most of our clients have pets. Service areas: Northgate, Capitol Hill, Shoreline, White Center, Magnolia/Queen Anne, West Seattle, Skyway, Green Lake, Central Seattle/Downtown, and Ballard. Pay rate: $24-$24.50 hr. Client Matching. We consider your experience, availability, and preferences to match you with the perfect clients. Paid Travel Time & Mileage Reimbursement. We pay you for your travel time in-between clients. Paid Orientation & Training. You will be paid for the time you spend at orientation and any additional online training required. Access to online training and continuing education courses. Caregiver Job Duties Household chores (cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc.) Cooking and/or serving meals. Helping clients bathe, dress, and groom. Providing companionship through daily activities and hobbies. Transporting clients for errands or appointments in your car. Assisting with gait belt or Hoyer transfers. Monitoring and reporting on their condition. Additional Information Our hiring process is fast and simple! If hired, you will be scheduled for orientation at your branch as soon as 1 week. Once you have completed onboarding, orientation, and training, you can start working with clients! The more open your availability, the more clients we can match you with. Ability to build a consistent schedule depends on caregiver availability, willingness to transport, and client match. Requirements 18 years of age or older. Ability to pass a state and national background check. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance and clean driving record. Active WA State CNA or HCA license and up to date on CE credits. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to provide more than companionship care and work with different care levels.
