Overview
Surgical Registered Nurse (OR) - Salida, Colorado. Travel assignment starting 08/10/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn 2,438 to 2,502 per week with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift schedule includes five 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 06:30 to 15:00, with on-call distributed equitably among staff. This is a Critical Access Hospital setting requiring OR nursing care across perioperative services.

Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care for surgical patients across a mix of procedures
- Prepare patients for surgery, including positioning, equipment setup, and maintaining sterile technique
- Act as a circulating nurse and/or assist the surgical team, ensuring a safe and efficient operative environment
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, assist anesthesia providers, and manage equipment and supplies
- Uphold infection prevention standards, document intraoperative care, and ensure accurate handoffs to post-anesthesia care
- Participate in the on-call schedule as distributed among staff

Requirements
- Current, active RN license in Colorado or a compact state
- CPR, ACLS, and PALS certifications current
- Minimum 3 years of OR nursing experience
- Ability to work in an intraoperative setting with familiarity of sterile techniques
- Eligibility to work in the listed location and adhere to the stated shift and call expectations
