Locum tenens coverage is sought to address current diagnostic radiology staffing needs beginning January 2027 on an ongoing basis.

The diagnostic radiologist will provide 100% remote diagnostic imaging interpretation services via telehealth for an academic medical center in Bronx, NY, covering inpatient and emergency room service lines during night shifts from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM EST. Each 10-hour shift carries an expected volume of 90-110 studies per clinician, averaging 100, with an estimated breakdown of 45-55 plain film, 30-40 CT (body and neuro), 5-8 ultrasound, and occasional neuro MRI studies. Covered modalities include CT Body, CT Neuro, plain film/radiographs, ultrasound, and occasional neuro MRI; no mammography or nuclear medicine is included. Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required, and no call responsibilities are associated with this position.
