Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse - Critical Care for a night shift ICU position requiring 2 years of CCU/ICU experience and an active MA RN license.

Details

• Critical care unit treating trauma, surgical, OB, neuro, medically unstable, and cardiac patients
• Acutely ill patients requiring Q1H or more frequent monitoring, assessment, and interventions
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, 4 shifts per week (48 hours)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (MA Temp License accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of CCU/ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to acutely ill patients across multiple specialties requiring frequent monitoring and intervention
• Blue scrubs recommended though no strict color requirement
• Returning perm staff are not eligible to return as travelers at this facility
• RTO limited to no more than 7 days during the assignment
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate within 50 miles of the facility
