Marketing Intern# Marketing InternBFC HQ - Saint Petersburg, FL 33701## DescriptionMaverick is looking for a creative, driven Marketing Intern to help bring our brand to life across every touchpoint — from flyers and email campaigns to social media. You'll work hands-on with our marketing and sales team to design standout materials and sharpen the way we show up to builders. **About the Program*** **Location:** St. Petersburg, FL* **Timeframe:** Length of a semester, however, some may be extended* **Hours:** 20 to 40 hours per week with a flexible schedule to accommodate class schedules* Weekly gatherings with interns, managers, and/or executives* Gain valuable, real world experience to help prepare for your career* All internship opportunities are paid**Primary Responsibilities*** Own graphic design end to end — take flyers and creative assets from concept to finished product, including design and copy* Partner closely with the sales team to build and refine sales collateral, flyers, and presentations* Help test and improve email performance — subject lines, send times, layouts — through simple A/B tests* Design social media content, including post visuals and captions* Design marketing materials for trade shows and events, refresh existing designs, and pitch creative ideas for booths, giveaways, and activations* Build, send, and help manage email marketing campaigns to leads and current builders* Contribute creative ideas across marketing campaigns and business development initiatives**Required Skills and Characteristics*** Strong written and verbal communication, with a knack for marketing copy* Creative, organized, and detail oriented* Self-motivated and eager to learn* Collaborative and comfortable working directly with a sales team* Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment* Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint**Preferred Skills and Characteristics*** Experience with Canva strongly preferred* Graphic design experience* Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite* Interest in digital marketing, social media, and content creation* Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field***The preceding position description has been designed to indicate the general nature of the work performed, the level of knowledge and skills typically required, and the usual working conditions of this position.
