Job Summary:
Perioperative Services - Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse position available in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves working in a Level I trauma hospital with a 300-bed capacity and 16 operating room beds. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day. The position includes various day shifts totaling 40 hours per week, with rotations and weekend call responsibilities.

Job Details:

• Location: Nashville, Tennessee
• Specialty: Operating Room Open Heart (CVOR)
• Shift Hours: 10 hours per day (0630-1700)
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40.0
• Dates: 07/06/2026 - 10/17/2026 (15 weeks)
• Rotation: Days off on a rotational basis; weekend call from Saturday 0630 to Monday 0630, with potential for late work to finish cases
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; minimum of 2 years CVOR experience; 2 years pediatric experience; circulating experience required; prior travel experience; similar experience in a Level I trauma hospital setting; BLS and PALS certifications
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a similar setting; ability to float across various services excluding cardiac and GI
• Additional Information: The unit may require float to other services based on staff needs; hospital provides scrubs via linen services; COVID vaccination series or valid exemption required by start date
