Schulte Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Mold Maintenance Technician for a direct-hire opportunity with a well-established precision manufacturing company in Reading, MA. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the reliability and performance of injection molding equipment and supporting overall production efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in an injection molding environment and a strong background in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment repair.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, execute, and track preventive and predictive maintenance activities for mold department equipment
• Diagnose and repair injection molding machines, robots, laser systems, and ancillary equipment
• Coordinate and manage external repair and service vendors as needed
• Obtain repair quotes and serve as the primary point of contact for outside service providers
• Maintain critical spare parts inventory for molding equipment
• Ensure all safety equipment, alarms, and safeguards are operational and compliant
• Assist with facility-related maintenance and repair projects within the molding department
• Support departmental safety initiatives, TS16949 programs, and operational standards
• Assist in promoting and maintaining quality system requirements and best practices
• Support and enforce departmental and company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• 8–10 years of maintenance experience in an injection molding manufacturing environment
• Excellent mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Experience maintaining injection molding machines and related automation equipment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift up to 65 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods
