They serve as a key liaison between clients, referring veterinarians, and internal medical teams, helping to coordinate care with empathy, efficiency, and accuracy. Responsibilities Manage and coordinate daily appointment schedules for doctors, ensuring efficient use of time and smooth workflow Answer and return client phone calls promptly, addressing questions, concerns, and follow-up needs with professionalism and compassion Monitor and respond to client emails; confirm upcoming appointments and provide necessary instructions Provide outstanding client service while supporting a "Fear Free" environment for patients and their owners Maintain clear, organized communication with clients, referring veterinarians, and internal medical teams Assist practitioners by handling administrative tasks, allowing doctors to focus on medical care Support patient care by preparing medical records, confirming referral documentation, and ensuring all required information is available ahead of appointments Demonstrate strong multitasking and time management skills in a fast-paced clinical setting Approach all tasks with a positive, solution-oriented attitude, going the extra mile to support clients and the care team Collaborate closely with specialists and support staff to improve workflow and patient outcomes Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail in all aspects of the role Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role is required. At least 2 years of experience in a veterinary role, dedicated to providing outstanding client service and excellent patient care within an emergency or specialty hospital are preferred.
