About the Role:
Jupiter Environmental Laboratories, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our growing team in Jupiter, FL. Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries
• Process payroll and maintain accurate employee financial records

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA licensure is a plus
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
