• Shift: Day, 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
• Hours/Week: Up to 36 or 48 hours/week (flexible)
• Employment Type: Contract (W-2)
• Licenses/Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH (CPI available at facility for $100)
• Experience: 2+ years ICU experience, Epic experience required, neuro experience preferred

What You'll Do:

• Provide ICU patient care in a busy neuro, stroke, and surgical ICU setting
• Manage post-op craniotomies, ventilator settings, central lines, arterial lines, and neuro-monitoring equipment
• Float between SCU, NCU, CCU, and occasionally to ED to care for admissions
• Monitor ICP, manage EVDs, Lumbar Drains, and CRRT as part of patient management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Follow all safety and procedural protocols, including scrubs in navy
• Document accurately and provide patient education

What You Need:

• Active RN license in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience with neuro/Stroke patient experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIH
• Ability to float to different units and adapt to various patient needs
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
