About the Facility - VA Northern California Health Care System (Mather Campus)

The Mather Campus of the VA Northern California Health Care System is a full-service medical center providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care to veterans across a 17-county service area in Northern California. The facility offers a complete range of medical, surgical, and mental health services with strong academic affiliations with UC Davis School of Medicine. The Cardiology Department provides comprehensive cardiovascular care including diagnostic imaging, stress testing, echocardiography, electrophysiology, and cardiac catheterization services.

Position Overview

• Full-time, permanent Cardiologist position
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• Comprehensive cardiovascular diagnostic and consultative services
• Echocardiography, stress testing, and cardiac imaging interpretation
• Outpatient cardiology consultations and follow-up care
• Participation in multidisciplinary cardiovascular care teams
• Academic collaboration opportunities with UC Davis

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Cardiology fellowship
• Active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• U.S. citizenship required

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. No on-call, no weekends, no call-back. Federal holiday schedule observed.
