$3,000 Sign-on Bonus + Generous Shift Differentials


Work (3) 12-hour shifts: 7pm-7:30am Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday

The Intake Admission Clinician manages referrals and service requests, assesses individuals of all ages, and collaborates with physicians for appropriate care decisions. They assist with discharge planning under the Director of Admissions and Referrals and are the primary community contact, providing essential resources and support. Additionally, they support the case management program.

• Document and process inquiry calls according to Intake policies.
• Conduct patient triage for appropriate placement internally or referral to community resources.
• Assess and stabilize patients before discharge or coordinate hospital admission arrangements.
• Notify and assist the on-call doctor with patient interviews.
• Obtain administrative approval for all admissions.
• Complete admission paperwork following hospital policy.
• Maintain an intake log with all necessary information documented.
• Make follow-up calls to patients who fail to show up for appointments.
• Demonstrate guest relations by example and counsel employees in need of training.

INTAKE ADMISSION CLINICIAN QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education & Education: Registered Nurse or Masters Degree in a human relations field required, clinical, clinician, social worker.
• Experience: Preferably two or more years experience in intake assessment activities within an acute psychiatric setting. At least two (2) years experience in a psychiatric hospital setting, including customer contact.
• Licensure: Licensed to practice in Illinois as a mental health professional is preferred.
• Additional Requirements: Knowledge of the latest DSM and Mental Status Exam and the Addiction and Recovery field.

Compensation:

This is a full time position and the expected compensation range is $26.00 - $33.00 hourly, plus SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS ! We're eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be provided to experience and skill level. Join us as our Intake Admission Clinician!
