Senior Human Resources Manager

Senior Human Resources Manager Full‑time, part‑time, or per diem positions with flexible work hours available. This position is based at the Madison, CT campus and reports directly to the Vice President of Business Operations and Administrative Services. Responsibilities Serve as a trusted resource to leaders and employees, providing clear guidance and timely support. Lead or oversee complex employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, performance improvement, corrective action, and separations. Coach leaders on effective feedback, documentation, progressive discipline, and respectful communication. Manage leave and accommodation processes (FMLA, state programs, ADA accommodations) with accurate tracking and documentation. Oversee or coordinate benefits and compensation administration to ensure accurate changes, clear communication, and timely completion of annual cycles. Maintain strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and translate requirements into day‑to‑day practice. Lead, coach, and develop the HR team to increase capability, confidence, and accountability. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience with a strong, hands‑on generalist background and 2–4 years leading or supervising an HR team. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment law compliance and HR best practices. Demonstrated analytical skills, including comfort working with metrics, AI, and compensation‑related analysis. Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record as defined by Vista. Salary & Location Salary Range: $90,000 – $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
