needed for a full-time, DIRECT HIRE
opportunity with Yoh's non-profit client located in San Jose, CA.
We have multiple openings available with a choice of part-time or full-time hours!! Additional openings available in Salinas, CA .

Work at a company that is committed to specializing in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities (and their families). Provide psychological assessments, behavioral consultations, and clinical support as part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.

Top Skills You Should Possess:

• Active Psychologist license in state of California
• At least two years of experience with developmental disabilities or behavioral health
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical documentation skills
• Knowledge of the principles, methods, techniques, and materials of psychology in serving the developmentally disabled

What You'll Be Doing:

• Evaluate cognitive and adaptive functioning, develop behavior support plans, and offer guidance to clients, families, and staff to promote independence and quality of life
• Assist in matters related to psychology, specifically to the provision of comprehensive services to people with developmental disabilities
• Participate as teacher/consultant to personnel involved in the development and delivery of services to people with developmental disabilities
• Assist in the development of new programs where need arises and in the ongoing evaluation of programs for the developmentally disabled within the region
• Perform other related duties as assigned (ie conservatorship petitions and competency to stand trial evaluations, and diverse plans)

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Ability to work 8am to 5pm shifts between Monday and Friday
• Doctorate in Clinical or Educational Psychology
• Use of an automobile, possession of a valid driver's license, and automobile liability insurance for the minimum amount prescribed by law or the ability to provide independent transportation
