Registered Nurse/Labor and Delivery

Join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC, a vibrant city known for its rich history and modern amenities. We are seeking dedicated professionals to provide exceptional care in a fast‑paced labor and delivery unit. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume labor and delivery setting; preference for 3 years. Certifications: BCLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP. Skills: Circulate, sterile vaginal exam, and immediate newborn care. Experience with over 300 births per month. Job Details Shift: 12‑hour nights (18:45 - 07:15). Contract: 13 - 26 weeks. Patient ratios: 2:1, with an average of 20 births in 24 hours. Weekend requirement: Every other weekend, at least 6 weekend shifts per 6‑week schedule. Float requirement: As needed to Special Maternity Care high‑risk OB unit. Patient Diagnoses Care for obstetrical patients 16 weeks and greater, including high‑risk antepartum and postpartum care. The unit also manages scheduled and unscheduled Cesarean births. Special Procedures / Unit Details Fast‑paced environment with high acuity. Strong preference for RNs with OR circulation experience.
