Position Summary: The Shipping/Receiving Clerk reports to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor and is responsible for daily shipping tasks.

Position Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:

• Handle and package parts to ensure quality per work order and quality procedure.
• Receive orders returning from outside processes.
• Create pack slips and any other shipment documentation.
• Maintain finished goods inventory and perform monthly stock checks.
• Maintain shipping supply stock.
• Keep shipping/receiving area clean and organized to promote a safe and efficient work environment.
• Promote continuous process improvement through daily involvement in shop activities and by communicating effectively with all staff members.

Required Skills:

• Possess strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient at basic math.
• Possess knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Maintain a strong understanding and acceptance of the company Quality Management System and relating procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• The employee is in a clean (5s'd), and climate-controlled manufacturing environment with state-of-the-art filtration systems. In this environment there is exposure to moderate to loud noise, dust, fumes and vapor from coolant, etc.
• There is a frequent need to stand for long periods, stoop, walk, twist, bend, lift and move heavy objects (up to 60 pounds).
• Manual Dexterity: Use fingers to grasp, move, or count very small objects.
• The job involves time pressure and performing well under stress.
• Employment includes being able to sustain working rapidly for long periods and to communicate and interact with others. There are multiple priorities to juggle including reading and comprehending written materials.

Experience: Work experience in manufacturing environment preferred but not required. Education/Certifications: High school diploma or equivalent within 2 years of hire date. Other education as required to perform the skills listed above. CMMC CUI User Group 2 Limited Network Access to CUI, Handle, View, Limited Sharing.
