Role Description The Sales Representative is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Germantown, MD. This role is responsible for generating new business, responding to inquiries, and guiding prospective clients through the services Moyer Move Management provides. Day‑to‑day tasks include conducting consultations, assessing client needs, preparing and presenting proposals, and following up to close sales. The Sales Representative collaborates closely with operations staff to ensure accurate scoping of projects and clear communication of timelines and costs. The role also includes maintaining relationships with referral partners, tracking sales activities, and contributing to local marketing and community outreach efforts. Qualifications Sales and client relationship skills, including prospecting, consultative selling, and closing techniques. Communication skills, such as clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and professional presentation abilities. Organizational and planning skills, including time management, attention to detail, and accurate documentation of client information. Customer service skills, with a focus on empathy, patience, and respectful interaction with clients navigating major life transitions. Basic business and technology skills, including comfort with CRM tools, email, spreadsheets, and scheduling software. Ability to work on‑site in Germantown, MD, visit client locations as needed, and collaborate effectively with the operations team. Prior experience in sales, moving services, home organization, or related service industries is preferred but not required.
