Are you ready to maximize your potential with us?The PositionThe Senior Solutions Architect is a technical leader with a deep understanding of business goals, business processes and solutions architecture who designs and supports the development of technology solutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs and align with architectural standards.RelationshipsIndividual contributor role. Interacts with internal stakeholders across business units as well as external suppliers and partners.Essential FunctionsLead evaluation, design and analysis of enterprise-wide solutionsTranslate business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectivesProvides a point of contact for supporting the applications in support of one or more specific business processes or areasWorks on the projects and initiatives assigned by IT management teamLeads in the development and/or maintenance of technical documents. Reconciles solution design with business requirements. Designs application prototypes when necessaryDesign solution recommendations and alternatives to satisfy customer needsCollaborate with enterprise architecture, information security, applications and infrastructure teams to produce optimal designsDelivers messages and presentations in a clear, confident manner. Produce technical documentation of systems and architecturesEnsure compliance of solutions to architectural standardsAct as a consultant on a broad range of technologies, platforms and vendor offeringsActs as a primary liaison between the business or function and vendor to provide updates, ensure alignment and monitors vendor activities Leverages knowledge of risk management standards for current processes, projects and systemsDesigns integrations between existing internal systems and external partnersPhysical Requirements10% travel including some international.QualificationsEducation Level: Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems, computer science, or related field preferredExperience Level: 8+ years related experience in architecture design and implementation experience within the pharmaceutical industry/IT/product managementStrong background in pharma MarTech and patient technologies including interfaces and synergies between SalesForce and AdobeStrong background in application and solution development in data management and analytics solutionsSpecific or technical job skills: Experience in solution design, data management, data integration and database development techniques. Works in Agile solution deliveryExperience in SQL, AWS, Cloud, ETL (Informatica etc.) and BI (Tableau, Qlik Sense, etc.) TechnologiesGood knowledge of data modelling & data warehousing conceptsExperience in assembling large, complex structured/unstructured data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirementsKnowledge of Pharmaceutical Data like IQVIA, Veeva, Customer or Product Master Systems is a plusKnowledge of Snowflake Database, Tableau, QlikSense and Informatica is a plusExperience in handling onsite/offshore team is a plusExperiences in agile development and testing preferredAbility to work independentlyDemonstrated problem solver with an ability to provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex problemsExcellent technical writing, document organization, technical document review and analytical thinking skills are requiredExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, written and oral communication skillsExpert knowledge of systems analysis and design techniquesKnowledge of all phases of the project and system development methodologiesThe base compensation range for this position is $120,300 to $222,600. Base compensation is determined based on a number of factors. This position is also eligible for a company bonus based on individual and company performance.
