Warehouse Operations Associate

Position Summary Under direct supervision, a Warehouse Operations Associate completes processing and material handling duties to ensure the smooth flow and efficient processing of products within the warehouse facility. The role requires high attention to detail and proficiency with barcode scanners, digital scales, software applications, touch‑screen computers, and the ability to read, understand and follow position‑specific standard operating procedures. Primary Accountabilities Be flexible and cross‑train in different warehouse roles, adapting to changing priorities to support an efficient workflow. Capture product codes or relevant information accurately using scanning equipment for input into computerized systems. For pharmaceutical products, visually identify, verify key product information, count, measure, or weigh items, and enter data into computerized systems. Sort scanned product items into designated container locations. Inspect product conditions and prepare for disposition according to client contract terms. Visually match or identify the RA on the outside of the envelope/box to the paperwork inside. Confirm correct products in the box compared to the RA provided during the delivery process. Follow instructions for handling discrepancies, prepare paperwork for scanning, and enter additional information as prompted. Place processed items into a tote, and prepare a placard with RA and tote barcode for the scanning process. After the scanning process, add totes to a pallet, label the pallet for storage, and move pallets as directed. Stock empty totes at scanning lines, remove trash from the scanning area, and, if forklift certified, operate a forklift for movement of order/products on the processing floor. Lift and move boxes to/from scanning lines, and open boxes or containers of returned/recalled items with a box cutter. Ensure proper care of equipment, report any issues promptly, and maintain effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other departments. Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and work area, meeting daily production goals with a high standard of accuracy. Follow all safety procedures and prioritize safety for yourself and co‑workers. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Legally authorized to work in the U.S. High‑school graduate (or equivalent) with at least two years of warehouse/production experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and training. Previous experience in material handling and processing within a warehouse environment. Detail‑oriented with a focus on maintaining accuracy. Ability to assist with any operations within the warehouse. Working knowledge of computers and comfort working in a non‑climate‑controlled environment under time pressure. Willingness to work more than 8 hours per day (overtime) as needed. Capability to handle hazardous waste materials with appropriate safety measures. Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Ability to follow standard operating procedures. Commitment to safety protocols and guidelines, with familiarity in warehouse safety procedures. Physical Demands The role requires frequent use of hands and arms to handle objects, regular reaching, standing, kneeling, stooping, and lifting weights up to 20 pounds. Employees must view items at close range and perform tasks in a non‑climate‑controlled environment. The position involves frequent or constant activities across a range of physical demands as described in the detailed assessment. Compensation $17.77 per hour. Incremental pay increases are provided at 3 months and 12 months of employment. This is a non‑exempt, hourly role eligible for overtime in accordance with federal and state laws. Eligible employees may receive safety bonuses based on performance and compliance, and shift differentials where applicable.
