Job Summary To conceptualize, design and deliver product / sustenance delivery through the team as per defined scope and standards in a particular technology

Key Responsibilities

• To architect, design and develop [through team] solution for product / sustenance delivery.
• To train and develop team so as to ensure that there is an adequate supply of trained manpower in the said technology and delivery risks are mitigated.
• To ensure knowledge up-gradation and work with new technologies so that the solution is current and meets quality standards and the client requirements.
• To gather specifications and deliver solutions to the client organization based on understanding of a domain or technology.

Skill Requirements

• Strong Experience in design of components with various manufacturing processes like Stamping, Molding & Machining.
• Proficient in SolidWorks & Creo (Creating 3D models, Sheet Metal, 2D drawing and Assembly)
• Hands on experience in Windchill PDM / PLM for managing lifecycle of the components.
• Strong experience in Onsite – Offshore co-ordination/interaction
• Experience in Electro-mechanical design
• Experience in Geometric Dimension & Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Strong knowledge in manufacturability considerations for Sheetmetal & Plastic
• Create DFMEA and identify relevant product risks.
• Identifying the suitable material, apply DFM/DFA concepts in design and Familiar with latest engineering design and methods, tools, and processes.
• Experience with standard NPI / NPD process.
• Understanding of compliance requirements.
• Experience in Tolerance stack up analysis.
• Ability to present and articulate ideas to key stakeholders and leadership team.
• Excellent communication skills and Positive 'can do' and proactive attitude.
• Quality mindset in design and documentation.
