Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN OR – Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Orange, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR – Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Operating Room (OR) at a healthcare facility located in Orange, California. This role involves providing perioperative nursing care for a variety of surgical procedures, including minimally invasive and robotic surgeries. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. Job Details Shift: Days (primarily Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends) Schedule: Rotating weekends but predominantly Monday through Friday shifts; post‑shift call from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM on weekdays; weekend call is 12 hours from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, evenly split among staff and travelers. Required Qualifications: Valid California license; minimum 2 years of operating room (OR) experience; travel experience required; current ACLS and BLS certifications; CNOR certification preferred; must be able to screen if 5+ years of experience. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotic surgeries, minimally invasive procedures, and a broad surgical skills set as detailed in the position description. Additional Information: Local radius is 50 miles; guaranteed hours with the facility able to call off once per two week pay period; must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). Unit Details: The role involves support for adult inpatient and outpatient surgeries across multiple specialty procedures, utilizing advanced equipment such as robotics and fracture tables. Submittal Requirements: Must include whether the candidate has previously worked at a healthcare facility in the region as a permanent employee, travel contract, or registry/per‑demand; recent LA fire card within the last 30 days; two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years.
