Job Description

Production Operator– $20.50-$26.30 Per Hour DOE (additional $2.00 per hour for 2nd and 3rd shifts)– Armstrong or Estherville, Iowa ON-SITE

Key Responsibilities:

• Read job specifications and technical drawings
• Set machine guides, stops and controls to required measurements
• Operate fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect products and check measurements against specifications
• Identify machine issues or product defects during production
• Carry out basic machine maintenance, including lubrication
• Support machine set-ups and production changeovers
• Stack, mark and pack finished products
• Help train and support new team members
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and support 5S activities
• Attend team meetings and work closely with colleagues across the plant
• Complete other duties as required

The Person

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• The ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards
• Experience using precision measuring equipment
• Good problem-solving skills and sound judgement
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A willingness to learn new processes and work across different areas
• Robotics experience and controls/instrumentation knowledge would be advantageous
