Registered Nurse - Critical Care

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night Shift: 5:45 PM - 6:15 AM, 3 days a week.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Critical Care to join our team. This position is ideal for a dedicated nurse ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a critical care unit, managing patients with serious and life-threatening conditions.
• Administer medications and monitor patients' responses to treatments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Utilize EMR systems for patient documentation and care management.
• Maintain a patient ratio of 2:1 in critical care situations, and 3-4:1 under other conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, preferably MedHost.
• Travelers must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.
