PRN Position

Crowne Place Assisted Living is currently accepting applications for a Resident Care Specialist within our Assisted Living Facility. This is a PRN position responsible for performing non-professional direct patient care duties under the supervision of nursing personnel and provide direct care to the residents of our assisted living facility assisting with activities of daily living, dining service, assisting to and from activities and meals, etc. Medication assistance experience in an assisted living setting is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Medication experience required
• Completion of elementary education or otherwise show the ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions
• Must speak and understand English
• Previous experience or completion of the appropriate training program
• Med Pass Experience preferred
• Positive attitude toward the elderly

Essential Job Functions:

• Responsibilities of this position include: assisting with activities of daily living to including dressing, bathing and assistance with meals, observation and reporting of any change in resident's status to supervisor, assisting with medications, checking vital signs.
