Nurse Practitioner – Genetics Join an exceptional Radiologist owned organization with more than 75 years in the New Mexico Medical Community. X-Ray Associates of New Mexico is hiring a Full-Time Nurse Practitioner for our busy Breast Health and Imaging Center located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. You will make a positive difference in the patient experience and quality of care by performing patient consultations with a focus on breast health and genetic studies, while working with a dedicated team including medical assistants, schedulers, breast imagers, and a dedicated nurse navigator. In this position, you will work directly with high risk patients to: Document detailed family histories, including pedigrees Perform genomic focused health assessments Develop plans of care, order appropriate genetic testing and radiological imaging, initiate health care interventions and make appropriate referrals Provide counseling to individuals and families about genetic risk for breast cancer Provide health education to patients and families influenced by high risk genomic factors related to breast health Requirements: Current New Mexico Nurse Practitioner License PECOS Certification Experience in Genetic testing and counseling AGN-BC Certification in Genetics strongly preferred Our team receives excellent pay and a generous benefit package including Four weeks of Paid Time Off, plus 7-8 additional Holidays per year.
