Are you an Infectious Disease specialist looking for a position that offers true work-life balance while allowing you to make a meaningful community impact? A rapidly growing outpatient practice in Sacramento is seeking an Infectious Disease Physician to lead and expand our comprehensive sexual health and prevention programs. This role is 100% outpatient with no inpatient rounding , offering a predictable weekday schedule and light patient volume.
Key Highlights & Practice Overview- 100% Outpatient Practice: Enjoy a predictable Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule. Zero hospital rounding responsibilities.
- Balanced Workload: Care for 8-16 patients per day through a combination of in-person visits and virtual consults.
- Dedicated Support Team: Work directly with a dedicated Medical Assistant and Patient Navigator, with seamless access to primary care, psychiatry, and substance use specialists.
- Program Leadership: Shape clinical direction by establishing protocols, expanding injectable HIV/PrEP therapies, and leading STI prevention initiatives for high-need populations.
- Base Salary: $300,000
- Incentives: Sign-on bonus and full relocation assistance package
- Loan Assistance: Eligible for State and Federal Physician Loan Forgiveness programs
- Benefits Package: Comprehensive medical/dental/vision coverage, 401(k) with match, paid malpractice with tail coverage, generous PTO, and dedicated CME allowance.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Infectious Disease.
- Expertise or strong interest in outpatient HIV, Hepatitis B/C, PrEP/PEP, and STI care.
- Passion for expanding healthcare access and caring for underserved patient populations.
