Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of home health experience for a 13-week travel assignment in the Palm Springs area serving a geriatric patient population.

Details

• Home health setting serving a geriatric patient population in the Palm Springs territory
• Caseload of approximately 5–7 patients per day
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch break
• No on-call or weekend requirements
• Coverage area spans a 50-mile radius from the hub/office
• Documents visits using HCHB (experience required)
• OASIS experience required
• Mileage between patient homes is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent home health PT experience required
• Active CA PT license required; pending licenses are not accepted — license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency with HCHB EMR required
• OASIS experience required
• Must have prior travel experience; first-time travelers will not be considered
