Machine Builder1st shift - $25-$30/HRThe Machine Builder assembles, installs, and maintains machinery and mechanical systems in a clean, controlled environment. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, using a variety of hand tools, and troubleshooting mechanical issues, with opportunities to travel to customer sites to support equipment installations.ResponsibilitiesAssemble machinery and mechanical systems according to blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.Install equipment and systems, ensuring proper alignment, fit, and functionality.Use a variety of hand tools and mechanical assembly tools to build and adjust components.Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform corrective actions to restore equipment performance.Assist with field installations at customer sites as needed, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.Perform routine equipment maintenance to support reliable and continuous operation.Conduct mechanical inspections using appropriate tools to verify quality and adherence to specifications.Follow safety procedures and best practices at all times while maintaining a strong focus on quality and efficiency.Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete projects on schedule.Document work performed and communicate any issues or improvement opportunities to the appropriate stakeholders.Essential SkillsProven experience in mechanical assembly and machine building.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Proficiency with hand tools and mechanical assembly tools.Experience with equipment maintenance and basic mechanical repairs.Knowledge of controls and instrumentation at a practical working level.Familiarity with mechanical inspection tools and techniques.Experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and efficiency.Strong understanding of safety practices related to mechanical and manufacturing work.Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues methodically and effectively.You will work in a stable, well-organized environment where your technical skills are valued and developed. Standard hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, providing a predictable daytime schedule. You will work with a variety of hand tools, mechanical assembly equipment, and inspection instruments in a well-maintained manufacturing setting that emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency.This is a Permanent position based out of Princeton, MN. The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
