Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | On-Call Weekends | Call Requirements: More than 12 Days

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures in the Cath Lab, including stress testing, TEE, and tilt procedures
• Float to Interventional Radiology (IR) as required, supporting occasional IR procedures such as vascular embolization, port placements, vascular stenting, and nephrostomy tubes
• Operate and monitor hemodynamic equipment; current equipment includes GE for fluoroscopy with transition to updated hemodynamics platform
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EHR
• Collaborate as a team player within a multidisciplinary adult patient population, including pre- and post-procedural care
• Participate in on-call rotation including weekend call coverage

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required; RRT or RCIS certification also accepted for scrub tech role
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab / Interventional Cardiology
• Demonstrated experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiology procedures
• IR float capability required
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with advanced devices and techniques: Manifold, IVUS, FFR, IVL, Impella, and IABP
• Familiarity with pre- and post-procedural unit care
• Experience treating patients with coronary artery disease (CAD)
• Strong team-oriented personality with ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
