Talent Acquisition Specialist

Position Summary The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for supporting D&R Cleaning Inc.’s recruiting and hiring efforts. The primary focus of this position is to identify, attract, screen, and assist in hiring qualified candidates to meet the company’s staffing needs. This position will work closely with the HR Manager and Operations Manager to understand current and upcoming staffing needs and maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified candidates. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Post and maintain job openings on approved recruiting platforms. Review applications and resumes for minimum job qualifications. Contact potential candidates promptly. Conduct initial telephone screenings. Schedule in-person and virtual interviews. Coordinate interviews with HR, Operations, and other management as needed. Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process. Identify and recruit candidates for open positions. Maintain an active candidate pipeline for positions that experience frequent staffing needs. Conduct reference checks when required. Initiate and coordinate background checks according to company procedures. Assist with preparing and communicating employment offers as authorized by HR. Coordinate pre-employment requirements and new-hire documentation. Maintain accurate records of applicants, interviews, offers, and hiring decisions. Update candidate information and hiring statuses within the company's HR/recruiting systems. Follow up with candidates who have been offered employment to help ensure successful start dates. Communicate new-hire information to HR and Operations. Maintain confidentiality of applicant and employee information. Follow D&R Cleaning's hiring procedures and applicable employment laws. Perform other recruiting and hiring-related duties as assigned by the HR Manager. Qualifications The ideal candidate should Have strong communication and interpersonal skills. Be comfortable speaking with candidates by telephone, email, Zoom, and in person. Be organized and able to manage multiple candidates and open positions simultaneously. Have strong follow-up and time-management skills. Be professional and dependable. Be comfortable using computers, email, online recruiting platforms, and HR systems. Maintain confidentiality when handling applicant and employee information. Work effectively with HR, Operations, supervisors, and management. Prior recruiting, interviewing, HR, staffing, or administrative experience is preferred. Key Performance Expectations Success in this position will be measured by the ability to maintain an active candidate pipeline, respond to applicants promptly, schedule interviews efficiently, keep accurate recruiting records, reduce the amount of time positions remain vacant, and provide HR and Operations with qualified candidates based on company staffing needs. Purpose of the Position The Talent Acquisition Specialist allows D&R Cleaning to have a dedicated individual focused specifically on recruiting and hiring. This position will help reduce staffing shortages, improve candidate communication, create a more consistent hiring process, and allow the HR Manager and Operations Manager to devote more time to employee relations, compliance, payroll, scheduling, training, and daily operational needs. #J-18808-Ljbffr
