CNA - LTC/SNF

Job Description

Job Summary:
Assist residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility, providing direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff. Ensure resident safety, comfort, and dignity while supporting overall clinical operations.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver personal care services such as bathing, dressing, and feeding residents.
• Monitor and record vital signs and resident condition changes.
• Assist nursing staff with clinical procedures and resident mobility.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Document care activities accurately in resident records.
• Follow all facility policies regarding COVID-19 vaccination and identification requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Ability to complete the facility's orientation and compliance requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work rotating shifts and adapt to a fluctuating schedule.
• Must bring a valid state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies or documented exemption.
