EP Lab Tech

The EP Lab Tech will provide specialized support in performing complex electrophysiology procedures within the cardiac catheterization lab. This role involves assisting with patient care, equipment operation, and maintaining safety protocols during procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist cardiologists during electrophysiology (EP) procedures, including ablations, PPM, PCD, and LAAC.
• Prepare and operate Philips EP lab equipment, ensuring proper setup and safety compliance.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist in scrubbing and mapping during procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and support patient safety throughout the procedure.
• Follow facility policies, including dress code and safety guidelines.
• Document procedures accurately in the EMR system, EPIC.

Qualifications:

• Certified RT, CVT, or RN with current licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cath lab or EP lab setting.
• Knowledge of EP procedures, troubleshooting, and equipment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including day shifts.
• Strong teamwork, adaptability, and communication skills.
