Our Hartwell, Georgia, factory measures an impressive 500,000 square feet. It represents our most versatile facility to date, enabling us to switch product lines with greater speed and efficiency. The Production Operator rotates job responsibilities on shift between one of four teams: Meat-Prep, Processing, Retorts, and Packaging. You will own a designated area of responsibility within your team, but also be responsible for understanding and covering all job tasks within your team on a routine rotation basis (and for covering similar job functions throughout the plant as needed). Primary Responsibilities : Operate, shutdown, changeover, clean, and troubleshoot machinery to support safe, quality production. Follow all factory safety and work rules to avoid injuries to yourself and fellow associates. Efficiently complete team tasks to safely produce a product while maintaining quality standards. Maintain basic equipment condition through cleaning, inspection, and lubrication activities. Provide on-shift troubleshooting support to identify and correct technical breakdowns and minor stoppages. Ensure cleaning, inspection, and lubrication activities are allocated appropriately to maintenance budgets. Requirements : 12 months+ experience in a manufacturing, production, agriculture, warehouse, military, or related environment. The approximate hourly pay rate for this position is $25.00.
