This is a fast-paced, multi-tasking role where no two days look the same, and where your ability to stay organized, follow through, and take ownership makes a direct impact on patients and the clinical team.How we support you:Competitive compensationBenefits include generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, disability, and 401(K) with a 4% employer matchComprehensive training including EMR navigation, insurance fundamentals, scheduling workflows, and phone etiquetteStructured onboarding and ongoing support from clinic leadershipClear growth pathways; our front desk team members have advanced into clinic management, operations, and leadership rolesResponsibilities:Create a welcoming, professional first impression for patients, visitors, and referral sourcesHandle front desk operations including patient check-in, check-out, scheduling, insurance verification/authorization, and phone callsReview, schedule, and follow up on incoming referrals by gathering information, creating or updating patient records, and helping patients understand next stepsKeep patient flow and schedules moving by confirming appointments, working waitlists, filling cancellations, and following up with patients who need future visitsCollect copays, balances, and other patient payments accurately and professionally, including basic payment tracking or reconciliation when neededProtect patient privacy and uphold HIPAA standards in all front desk interactions and documentationQualifications:High School Diploma or GEDAt least one year of experience in a customer-facing or patient-facing role, this could include retail, hospitality, call center, medical reception, or any setting where you regularly interacted with the public in person or over the phoneDemonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks at once while staying organized and detail-orientedComfortable and confident communicating on the phone, including handling incoming calls with patience and professionalismBasic computer proficiency: comfortable learning new systems, navigating scheduling software, sending emails, and working in spreadsheetsNo prior medical experience required — we provide comprehensive training including EMR navigation, insurance fundamentals, scheduling workflows, and phone etiquetteCompensation: $18-$20/HourlyConfluent Health, LLC and its affiliates are equal opportunity employers committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
