Our busy hotel is seeking an energetic, customer-oriented maintenance engineer to ensure that all of our visitors have an excellent experience at our property. You'll be in charge of the building's maintenance and preventative programs daily to ensure people's enjoyment, health, and safety. $18.50 hourly

• Create an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department heads
• Work with a variety of tools hammers and screwdrivers, indicators and edge finders, drills, wrenches, and other maintenance tools of the trade
• Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly
• Maintain all of the hotel's equipment and preventative maintenance plans
• Adhere to all engineering safety norms and procedures

• Stellar communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are needed
• Driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory
• Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software
• The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required
• You will need 2-4 years of experience in a maintenance role

Located on the coastline of Hilo Bay, the Grand Naniloa Hilo, a DoubleTree by Hilton, is 30 miles from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. All rooms have free WiFi.
