Maintenance Technician

Location: Pine City, MN
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Saturday, with periodically rotating first, second, and third shifts

In this hands-on role, you’ll maintain and repair industrial laundry equipment, troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and perform preventive maintenance to help minimize downtime. You’ll work with a variety of machinery and systems while helping ensure our team has the equipment it needs to serve our customers.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and repair equipment: Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial laundry machinery, building systems, and facility equipment.

• Solve mechanical and electrical problems: Identify equipment failures and perform repairs, replacements, installations, and modifications as needed.

• Keep equipment running efficiently: Perform preventive maintenance and complete assigned work orders to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.

• Support facility systems: Maintain and troubleshoot boilers, heaters, pumps, valves, electrical systems, and wiring.

• Work safely: Follow established safety procedures and operate machinery and tools correctly at all times.

• Collaborate with others: Assist outside vendors and contractors when needed and support special projects and other maintenance priorities.

• Help keep operations moving: Maintain reliable attendance and respond to maintenance needs in a timely manner.

What We’re Looking For

• 1–2 years of experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, or equipment repair preferred.

• Some experience with high-voltage systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

• General knowledge of production environments and automated equipment.

• A self-motivated, detail-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.

• A practical problem-solving mindset and willingness to work on a variety of equipment and maintenance tasks.

• A commitment to workplace safety and reliable attendance.

Physical & Work Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position in an industrial laundry facility. The role involves moving throughout the plant and performing maintenance tasks that may require:

• Standing and walking frequently throughout the facility.

• Bending, reaching, crouching, squatting, and occasionally climbing stairs to access equipment and storage areas.

• Using hand tools and manipulating equipment parts with precision and strength.

• Pushing and pulling carts or equipment.

• Lifting and carrying tools, parts, and equipment. Regular lifting may involve items under 50 pounds, with occasional heavier lifting requirements.

• Working around industrial machinery and accessing equipment in different areas of the facility.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 60 pounds as part of the general job requirements. Additional physical demands may apply depending on the task.

Pre-Employment Requirements

Employment is contingent upon successfully completing the required post-offer physical and substance testing, as well as a criminal background screening.
