This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about providing high-quality behavioral health care in a collaborative clinical environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and behavioral health assessments. Obtain and review patient medical and psychiatric histories. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage psychiatric and behavioral health conditions within scope of practice. Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate. Monitor patient response to treatment and make adjustments as clinically indicated. Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, and treatment plans. Monitor patient progress and provide appropriate follow-up care. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Coordinate care and referrals when additional specialty services are required. Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining professional and clinical standards. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with appropriate psychiatric/mental health specialization. Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification. Active Maryland NP license or Compact eligibility. NP candidates only; Physician Assistants are not eligible for this position. New graduates are welcome to apply. Experienced PMHNPs are also encouraged to apply.
