ArcPoint Electric Solutions Inc. is hiring an Electrician’s Helper to support our field team on service calls, maintenance work, and electrical testing projects. Please note the job location above is the office location. Our projects are not specific to one location.

Electrician Helper — Responsibilities

• Assist electricians and lead technicians with commercial, industrial, and residential electrical work.
• Support preventive maintenance and electrical testing activities (setup, breakdown, tool handling, basic assistance during testing).
• Help with switchgear, panelboards, transformers, and circuit breaker service work by staging materials, organizing parts, and maintaining a clean work area.
• Perform jobsite setup and cleanup : cones/barriers, drop cloths, lighting, cord management, and debris removal.
• Load/unload trucks daily; organize tools, meters, ladders, and materials to keep the crew efficient.
• Pull, carry, and stage materials (conduit, fittings, wire, anchors, hardware) and help with material counts .
• Assist with running conduit/wire as directed (measuring, cutting, labeling conductors, basic fastening/support work).
• Support lockout/tagout (LOTO) and jobsite safety procedures under supervision.
• Maintain a strong safety mindset: proper PPE use, hazard awareness, and following direction around energized equipment.
• Help document work performed: take photos , record equipment nameplate info, and support field reporting as directed.
• Communicate professionally with customers/building staff; represent the company with a clean, respectful presence.
• Perform basic hand/power tool tasks under supervision (drilling, fastening, mounting supports, assembling materials).
• Assist with emergency service calls when needed (including nights/weekends if your listing includes that).
• Follow company SOPs for quality, cleanliness, and customer experience .
• Report any safety concerns, damaged tools, or jobsite issues to the lead immediately.
