Work Environment

This role is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to manage your schedule while delivering telehealth services to clients across Fresno, California, and beyond. Our clinic operates in a telehealth setting, using advanced electronic medical record (EMR) software to streamline processes and enhance communication between you and your clients. You will have the necessary technological support to conduct virtual sessions and maintain comprehensive records with ease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs, developing individualized treatment plans informed by evidence-based practices.
  • Regularly communicate with supervisors, direct care staff, and family members to keep them informed about clients' progress and challenges.
  • Provide detailed schedules for client sessions, home visits, and observational assessments, ensuring timely follow-up and adequate support.
  • Coordinate and perform home visits as necessary to gather insights through observations and interactions, aiding in comprehensive assessments.
  • Ensure that treatment plans are effectively implemented and that clients receive consistent support throughout their recovery journey.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing your clinical expertise to collaborative discussions aimed at improving client care.
  • Document progress through monthly and quarterly notes, ensuring compliance with clinic standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Organize training sessions for staff to promote effective implementation of treatment protocols and client documentation strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between the clinic, clients, and the broader mental health community, advocating for client needs and program development.
  • Establish and maintain organized records, ensuring accessibility for all relevant parties involved in client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including both adults and youth, who present a wide range of mental health challenges. Your expertise will cater to individuals seeking support for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance misuse. Your role will be crucial in promoting resilience and recovery within these populations through empathetic and informed counseling practices.

Qualifications

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
  • An active and unrestricted LPCC licensure in California is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in clinical settings.
  • Strong knowledge of legal and ethical guidelines governing clinical practice.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport with diverse populations, showcasing excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven experience collaborating with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to provide holistic patient care.
  • Proficiency in utilizing EMR systems to manage client documentation and scheduling effectively.

Preferred Experience

  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse will be highly regarded.
  • Experience working in telehealth settings is advantageous, as it enhances understanding of virtual therapy dynamics and client engagement strategies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
