Responsibilities

Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Location/work environment: Your skills are valued at Windsor el Camino Care Center! This 178-bed SNF features a fast-paced gym and a wide variety of short and long-term care patients, from ortho to neuro and some deconditioning. Along with a supportive nursing and administration team, we are achieving terrific rehab outcome measurements. Come join us!

Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab

Status: this is a Full Time PTA position.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you help patients get well. You are the person who can bring their power back. In doing this, you will implement physical therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments.

You're a healer and a helper, which is why you got into this line of work.

You're equally adept at addressing the whole patient and seeing them as an individual. You know your goal is to execute a program that will restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities.

You're adaptable to the needs of the patient and can find joy in the variety of the work and the settings.

You're a teammate and are looking for collaboration with your peers, but you're also happy to make referrals to help your patient get the care they need to thrive.

Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Program certified by the American Physical Therapy Association.

2. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required by the state of practice.

Posted Salary Range

USD $50.00 - USD $53.00 /Hr.
