Senior Business Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business analysis, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that our projects align with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough business analysis to identify and document business requirements, processes, and workflows.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data, ensuring that business needs are accurately captured and understood.
• Develop detailed functional specifications and use cases to guide the development and implementation of solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with cross functional teams to drive consensus and ensure alignment on project objectives.
• Perform gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions that enhance business processes.
• Support project management activities, including project planning, risk management, and status reporting.
• Act as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide training and support to end users, ensuring successful adoption of new systems and processes.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate project outcomes, making recommendations for future improvements.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Business Analysis methodologies and best practices.
• Proven experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Experience in data analysis and visualization tools.
• Knowledge of industry specific regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI PBA) are a plus.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects on time and within budget.
