Description Senior Manager Surgical Services RN- SURGERY at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center in San Pedro, CA. This position is Full Time and will work 8-hour Day shifts. Additionally, our Rehab Center is nationally ranked by UDSMR and accredited by CARF for outstanding rehabilitation programs. Directs clinical and support services staff. Functions as a member of the administrative management team in all aspects of Surgery and Perianesthesia management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large clinical teams with a span of control of 50+ caregivers and demonstrated expertise in perioperative operations, including block scheduling, staffing, productivity management, and on-call coverage. This leader will partner closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient care, operational excellence, and caregiver engagement. Bachelor's Degree Nursing Or Upon hire: California Registered Nurse License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association 5 years of progressively responsible healthcare leadership experience. 3 years of leadership or management experience in perioperative or procedural services. Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree Nursing Upon hire: National Certification Experience with Magnet Organization Experience leading OR, PACU, and procedural areas; GI Lab and Pre-Admission Testing experience preferred. Strong knowledge of block scheduling, workforce planning, on-call management, budgeting, and productivity metrics. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills. Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, develop, and retain high-performing teams. Creative problem solver with a focus on innovation, patient experience, quality outcomes, and operational efficiency.
