Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Tucson, Arizona. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CT Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/21/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist position is based in the healthcare setting and involves performing prescribed procedures in accordance with department policies and protocols. The role focuses on delivering high-quality imaging services while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality, supporting efficient workflow, and maintaining equipment performance. Job Details Position Description: Performs procedures by following and verifying referring providers' orders, utilizing independent judgment and learned methodologies. Educates patients and families regarding procedures and/or treatments. Demonstrates professional behavior and fosters teamwork to support quality patient outcomes. Produces high-quality images and prepares them for interpretation, maintaining accurate documentation. Demonstrates competence in prescribed invasive/interventional procedures as applicable. Performs and evaluates equipment quality control measurements and troubleshoots equipment issues to ensure optimal performance. Maintains a safe environment for patients, personnel, and visitors by adhering to safety policies. Maintains ethical, legal, and professional responsibilities, including confidentiality. Ensures departmental workflow operates efficiently by monitoring inventories of supplies and materials to prevent service interruptions. Performs prescribed procedures independently following policies, procedures, and protocols. Required Qualifications: Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program. National Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT(R) or ARRT(NM)) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB(CNMT)). State licensure required for AZ, WY, NV, including Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and CT license prior to hire (not required in Colorado). Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography required within 18 months of hire from ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT). Certification for BLS is required. This position requires clinical knowledge typically achieved with two years of experience. Must demonstrate effective communication skills, analyze data, and solve problems. Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: None.
