Location: Vancouver, BC Onsite
Role Overview
We are seeking a Lead Data Engineer with 10 15 years of data engineering experience , including 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience , to lead enterprise-scale data architecture and engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Leadership-
Design enterprise-scale data architectures using Microsoft Fabric .

Lead technical design reviews and architecture discussions.

Establish data engineering standards, best practices, and governance frameworks.

Design scalable ELT frameworks using Fabric Data Factory, Spark Notebooks, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake .

Build high-volume customer data pipelines supporting batch and near real-time processing .
-
Develop reusable ingestion and transformation frameworks.
-
Optimize large-scale workloads for performance and cost efficiency .
-
Design data quality frameworks and monitoring solutions .
-
Implement data lineage, governance, and metadata management standards.
-
Mentor junior and mid-level data engineers.
-
Lead code reviews and solution governance activities.
-
Drive Agile delivery and sprint planning .
-
10 15 years of Data Engineering experience.
-
3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience.
-
Strong expertise in Fabric Data Factory, Spark, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and OneLake .

Experience designing scalable data pipelines and ELT frameworks.
-
Strong understanding of data governance, quality, lineage, and metadata management .
-
Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience.
