Registered Nurse – Critical Care

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Assignment Details:

• Contract Weeks: 5
• Guaranteed Hours: 48.00

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• AHA-PALS certification required
• Techniques for Effective Aggression Management (TEAM) or TEAM-A or Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• At least two years of recent experience in the field required
• Recent EPIC experience within the last 12 months required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated nursing care based on established standards and nursing processes.
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of nursing staff.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Collect and analyze patient health data to determine diagnoses and care issues.
• Develop plans of care with prescribed interventions.
• Evaluate patient progress toward desired health outcomes.
